PureCM is pleased to announce the release of 2012/2.
Perhaps the biggest new feature is the ability to exclude files within a merge rule. So for example you could specify that changes to Visual Studio solution files are not merged between two streams (*.sln).
Another great new feature is the introduction of pcmignore files to specify which files should not be added to PureCM. You can read more about this in the PureCM Blogs.
We have also included the Visual Studio 2012 extension, support for Windows 8 and a plugin for Sublime Text 2.
If you have time you can read the release notes to see the other enhancements we have put into this release. There are also many bug fixes so we recommend you upgrade when possible.

PureCM is pleased to announce the release of 2012-1.
Perhaps the biggest new feature is the web client. Now you can view, create and edit projects, versions, tasks and features within your web browser. Perfect for a project manager who does not want to install the PureCM GUI. You can also view the files within a version as well as the version changesets.
We have improved the workspace creation/update process so it can be resumed. So if your connection drops midway through an update you do not have to start all over again.
The file history dialog has been enhanced so you can quickly view the changes for each revision. The advantages with this are discussed in this blog.
We have spent a lot of time improving performance when working with a large number of files. If you are doing big submits with 1000s of files then you will notice the difference.
If you have time you can read the release notes to see the other enhancements we have put into this release. There are also many bug fixes so we recommend you upgrade when possible.
