After a changeset has been submitted in a version, a pending changeset will be created for
any child versions. This makes sense because most changes made to version 1 will be
merged to version 2.
Pending changesets will not be created for the parent version. This makes sense
because you do not want to merge all the new features you are submitting in version 2 back
into version 1. You can always cherry pick changesets to merge between versions as
described in the Admin Guide 'Merging' chapter. You can also create and modify new merge
rules to determine which changes will become pending as described in the Admin Guide 'Merge
To view the 'Pending Changes' for a version you must assign the version to you or a group
you belong to.
