Working with Tasks

To start working on a task press the 'Work on Task' toolbar button or use the 'File | PureCM | Work on Task' menu. This will launch the 'Select Tasks' dialog.

The 'My Tasks' tab lists all the tasks assigned to you. The 'Team Tasks' tab lists all the tasks not assigned to you. Use the 'Create New Task' button to create a new task.

Note

The 'Select Tasks' dialog will only list tasks for the version or feature your workspace is based on. If you want to work on another task use the 'Get From PureCM' toolbar button and select the current workspace as described in the section called “Getting a solution from PureCM”. This will switch your workspace to the task version or feature and make the task active.

After selecting a task, it will appear in the Changesets View as described in the section called “Changeset View”. You can now submit with this task. If you want to submit with multiple tasks you should open the Changeset Dialog and check the tasks you want to submit in the 'Tasks' tab.

You can create, edit and move tasks using the Projects view as described in the section called “Projects View”.
