With the Workspaces view selected press the 'Add Workspace' button to create a new workspace. This will launch the New Workspace dialog.
Using the Projects tab you can select the version, feature or release that you want to create a workspace for. Using the 'My Tasks' tab you can select the task which you want to create a workspace for.
This is where the workspace files and folders will be created. As you select a different version the default path will change to reflect this. You can change the base of the default path within the Options | Workspace page. You can always enter a new path directly or use the browse button.
Give the workspace a name to distinguish it from other workspaces. By default this will be the name of the version, feature or release you have selected.
Press 'OK' to create the workspace.
After downloading all the files from the server the Workspace view will be opened in the GUI.
From here you can start editing the files, 'Submit' your changes to the server and 'Update to Latest' to get other people's changes.
If you go back to the 'Workspaces' view it will list all of your created workspaces. From here you can navigate to the workspace you want to work on. You can also get a overview of your workspaces (e.g see which workspaces are out of date) and perform basic operations (e.g. 'Update to Latest' and 'Submit').
